Meet Dr. Yusuf

Dr. Yusuf A. Sheikh is a board-certified periodontist who earned both his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and Certificate in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of many prestigious organizations, including the American Board of Periodontology, the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology, Academy of Osseointegration, the Connecticut Society of Periodontists, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Sheikh is committed to patient-centered, personalized care, focusing on comfort, long-term oral health, and high-quality outcomes in all areas of periodontics and implant dentistry.

Originally from Texas, Dr. Sheikh now resides in Simsbury, Connecticut, with his wife, their cat Oscar, and their two dogs, Lady and Lucky. Outside the office, he enjoys culinary adventures and exploring all that New England has to offer. He also volunteers regularly with the Mission of Mercy, which he has been involved with for the past 15 years.
