Dr. Meltzer and Dr. Kang provide a variety of surgical services for the treatment of periodontal issues. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are very conservative in our treatment recommendations and limit surgery to the areas where it is absolutely necessary.

Periodontal disease has been shown through countless studies to have links to other areas of systemic health, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal and colorectal disease, Alzheimer’s, and even pregnancy.  More research studies have continued to uncover the importance of periodontal health in relation to systemic health.
