David Barton, DDS

Windsor CT Dental Anesthesiologist

Dr. David Barton is a Dental Anesthesiologist licensed with current anesthesia permits in Connecticut and New York. He attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry. After obtaining his DDS degree, he completed a one year residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY followed by his three year dental anesthesia residency at Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. He currently holds an attending position at Jacobi Medical Center instructing the dental anesthesia residents.

Dr Barton is an active member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, Greenwich Dental Society, and Hartford Dental Society. He is also a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association Anesthesia Task Force, working to improve safety and access to anesthesia in the dental setting throughout Connecticut.

After growing up near Detroit, Michigan, Dr Barton completed his undergraduate degree in Utah at Brigham Young University. While living in Utah, he developed his passions for skiing, camping, and everything outdoors. He currently lives in Greenwich, CT with his wife and two kids. They enjoy time at the beach and taking trips into the city exploring.

Dr Barton and his practice, Coastal Sedation Specialists, is proud to provide sedation and general anesthesia services to patients throughout Connecticut and New York. Their focus is primarily on pediatrics, special needs, and adult dental phobic patients, and are excited to craft a personalized sedation plan for all patients.
